I'm back home for now; Sylvia and I will be moving into our new place in about a month. Until then I have to endure dial-up internet again. Good god, this is going to kill me.

hearing: Homecoming Queen -- Hinder

Because I enjoy hooking people on TV shows, Sylvia and I recently went through Sports Night and, amazingly, nine seasons of M*A*S*H. (We still have the second and third season left to finish, but Sylvia is conspicuously absent right now and I'm only watching them for her benefit, because I don't like them very much.) I am awesome at this business, clearly.

So since I wanted to watch something, my only other options were SWC and Boston Legal, and I plan on watching those with Sylvia soon, too. (Though I'm delaying BL until I get the third season, which is supposed to be any time now.) That lead to me asking Loni what she had, and thus I am now watching a marathon of the Gilmore Girls, because it was either that or 7th Heaven.

I used to watch this show on ABC, but stopped after awhile for reasons I didn't remember at the time of asking Loni to borrow it. I think I remember now.

Lorelai isn't terrible, but oh my GOD, can she get EXTREMELY annoying or what? Rory too. The secondary characters are much more awesome, I think. Lane, Luke, Paris, Lorelai's parents, the townspeople, so on and so forth. And I also remember the frustration surrounding the knowledge that Luke and Lorelai don't get together until SEASON FOUR. WTF? And the whole Max fiasco. I still don't really understand the ending that surrounded that.

(This is not even touching the brain-hurt that occurred when I ventured into the ff.net section. *shudders*)
